Kayla's Senior Session at The Root Farm

No matter the environment, I find ways to capture images that stand out above the rest. During this particular session, the sun was bright, shadows filled the land, and the barn captures she wanted were nearly impossible.

Before each session, I show up 15-minutes prior to the client so I can scope out the area for potential spots. One of her biggest requests was to be inside a barn, and the location she chose was The Root Farm. When I showed up, the staff on-site advised me it was impossible to get into the barn. Great, now I can’t make her wish come true.

There’s one thing I pride myself on, though, and that is my will to make things happen. We found a way to make our way up to the barn and capture some moments in the doorway (the image you see is 10-feet in the air), and on a hay bail.

Needless to say, she was beyond thrilled we made it happen and was ecstatic when she saw the images.

Do Not Cheap Out on Your Big Day

On many occasions, friends have come up to me and expressed regret for not hiring a better photographer. There one reservation about the better photographer - the pricing.

No matter where you get married, who decorates the venue, or what kind of food you have, the pictures will be the only part of the wedding that last forever (besides your marriage, of course). The horror stories that come from bad wedding photography make me cringe because I know how terrible it is to not have your special day captured properly.

Whether you chose me or the next person, make sure you splurge on the photographer that will capture you day and provide you with images that will last forever. If you do want to chose me, I charge between $1,500 to $3,000.

I am easy to talk to and I work with all of my clients’ needs! Do not hesitate to reach out to me and discuss your big day.
